Need to catch y’all up on our Fall adventures!
I can’t believe it’s already Thanksgiving week! We’ve had a super busy and fun Fall with baby Ray. Here are a few of my favorite highlights:
He enjoyed having some visitors in October – his Granny Cindy and Dr. Papa came for a weekend. He loved it, even though he was really ready for a nap in this picture.
His Granny Cindy decided he needed some entertainment and bought him this contraption.
I don’t think our house needed any more baby junk, but Ray seems to enjoy it.
Halloween
Ray requested to be the edible version of himself, Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce. CJ and I accompanied him by being ketchup and mustard. It was definitely one of the easiest family costumes we’ve ever done. Our shirts came from this Etsy store and Baby Ray’s onesie came from my talented friend Kristy. You can check out her fabulous website/business, Southern Style Crafts, here.
Baby Ray is still loving his school, that little turkey!
We also joined our neighbors in some pumpkin carving, a bonfire and s’mores!
Ray and I have been enjoying lots of outside time on the backyard patio. I crafted him some Pinterest sensory bags. He wasn’t blown away, but they were mildly entertaining.
He also had a play date with some of his baby friends.
Wedding time!
Last but not least in our fall adventures was my amazing cousin Kristin’s wedding which we took a very quick trip to Texas for. Every detail was beautiful and represented her and her new husband Matt perfectly. (Sorry, Matt – I didn’t get a picture of both of y’all!)
As you can tell, we’ve been very busy. Both the boy’s and my job schedules have been hectic as well, so we are so looking forward to this thanksgiving break. We are all in Texas to celebrate and are counting our blessings. Thanksgiving is one of my very favorite holidays and I can’t wait to load up on fried turkey, dressing and pie!
Wishing you a happy thanksgiving too!

This blog post was lovingly edited by my BFF Bachers who has no tolerance for my horrible grammar and spelling. She concluded by saying, “I think I got everything…anyway it’s better than it was.”
Thank you, Bachers.
